Our tips for a holiday on Lake Ledro and in the surrounding area with activities to suit the whole family!

We know how lucky we are! All of our holiday apartments on Lake Ledro are in stunning locations. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery all year round, a landscape which changes colour with the seasons.
Lake Ledro always wows visitors! And just a short drive from here are Lake Garda, Lake Idro, the spa at Comano Terme, the Brenta Dolomites, and so much more. We are in perfect location for both active outdoor holidays or a relaxing break!
Lake Ledro and the surrounding valley offer pristine green meadows in summer whilst winter brings a covering of soft, white snow and fresh mountain air, as well as an almost endless assortment of active and relaxing activities.

Experiencing Lake Ledro: Canoeing, sailing, fishing and much, much more!

Lake Ledro is a natural paradise surrounded by Alpine peaks. The clear blue waters of the lake are ideal for swimming or a wide variety of water sports, such as sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and fishing. Or you can just stretch out in the sun and relax, enjoying one of the many beautiful beaches around the lake’s shores.

Hiking in a Breathtaking Landscape

No visit to Lake Ledro is complete without exploring the Strada del Ponale, the famous old road linking Lake Ledro with Lake Garda, now a walking and cycling route with incredible views, especially on the section carved out of the rockface high above Lake Garda. The route runs from Molina di Ledro though a series of tunnels down to the centre of Riva del Garda. If you are looking for more demanding itineraries, you are spoiled for choice, with routes like the Cima d’Oro, Monte Corno or the Giro delle Cime.

Mountain Bikers! You Have Come to the Right Place!

The Lake Ledro valley offers more than 200 km of trails to explore by MTB, with trails to suit all levels of skill and experience, a paradise for lovers of mountain biking. There are also plenty of facilities on offer for cyclists: hire shops, cycle paths and bars and cafés for refreshments and a rest! If you are a seasoned bike rider, Monte Tremalzo awaits!

Experience the Pure Adrenaline of Canyoning!

Have you heard of the canyoning course on the Palvico river? Without doubt, this is the most incredible experience in the whole of the Lake Ledro Valley: make your way through enchanting caves, narrow passages, down fast natural rock slides and plunge pools, culminating in a 50 m abseil down the side of a spectacular waterfall. To be enjoyed in the company of a local guide, helping you explore an extraordinary natural landscape!

Museo delle Palafitte

Step Back in Time: Discover the ‘Palafitte’ Pile Dwellings!

The Museo delle Palafitte is one of Lake Ledro's most iconic destinations, on the site of an ancient settlement that dates back more than 40,000 years and which is recognised by UNESCO. The museum's collection features finds which emerged when the lake was drained in 1929, along with and a reconstruction of a pile dwelling village. Don't forget to leave time for some history during your holiday on Lake Ledro!
